A 7-yr-outdated Houston-location boy was shot and killed Sunday whilst in mattress, authorities reported. 

Paul Vasquez was dwelling with his mother and two more mature brothers when a sedan drove by the residence in the 13000 block of McNair Road, the Harris County Sheriff's Workplace claimed. 

Many pictures have been fired into the property from the vehicle, which was described as a white or gray, four-door motor vehicle, authorities reported. 

Responding deputies discovered the boy shot in the chest. He was hit though he was in mattress and was capable to get up and convey to his mother that he was shot in advance of collapsing, WHD Houston reported. Vasquez was taken to a medical center where by he was pronounced lifeless.

Investigators have not established a motive for the taking pictures and no arrests have been manufactured.  

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez mentioned he was "outraged" to master of the taking pictures. 

"A child was killed and all through a travel-by capturing this morning. This is the everyday toll of gun violence. Gun violence in the US just can't be seen as a solitary concern," he tweeted. "Let’s not accept everyday gun violence as our norm. Our hearts go out to all those people grieving in the wake of these shootings. We can and we must do more to stop gun violence."
