The Justice Department has billed two gentlemen in link with the trafficking of dozens of firearms from South Carolina to Philadelphia, federal authorities reported.

On Friday, United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams announced prices from Terrance Darby, 41, and Ontavious Plumer, 32, for allegedly transporting nearly 60 firearms, creating unlicensed deals, conspiracy to perform illegal transactions and making fake statements.

"With today’s charges, we have shut off but another valve to stem the move of guns into Philadelphia," U.S. Legal professional Williams mentioned in a Pennsylvania Department of Justice release. "Our Office environment is performing with urgency and resolve to get guns off the streets of our city."

Darby, a Philadelphia resident, was in addition charged with drug trafficking and illegal gun possession. Specifically, the DOJ stated he was charged with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl and illegal possession of two firearms in his home in November 2021.

The alleged criminal activity was initiated by Darby, who would purchase the firearms with Plumber who would ship for them from South Carolina. According to the statement, co-conspirators would retrieve these arms via straw purchases and transport them into Philadelphia.
