Alan Shipnuck, the creator of an unauthorized Phil Mickelson biography who was eradicated from a press convention at the LIV Golf Invitational on Thursday, confronted Greg Norman above the incident after a movie appeared to display him looking at as protection escorted Shipnuck out. 

Shipnuck took to Twitter on Thursday to reveal that safety guards had "bodily" eliminated him from a write-up-round push meeting showcasing Mickelson on orders "from their manager."

The author questioned who purchased his removing and seemingly pointed to LIV Golfing Investments CEO Greg Norman as a chance.

Shipnuck shared a screenshot shortly right after of him asking Norman above textual content if he was conscious that he was "muscled out," to which Norman replied: "Did not listen to. Many thanks for permitting me know." 

But just after video evidence appeared, Shipnuck sent Norman a followup text of a screenshot exhibiting him standing straight powering him as he was approached by security. 

"You cannot make this s--- up! I texted Greg Norman prior to a person despatched me this video clip - I experienced no plan he was lurking behind me," Shipnuck stated in a tweet.

Mickelson has been just one of the most important names to be a part of LIV Golfing in the months major up to its initially function in London. He developed a firestorm in February when his responses to Shipnuck for the ebook, "Phil: The Rip-Roaring (and Unauthorized!) Biography of Golf’s Most Colourful Celebrity," were printed in excerpts to the Fire Pit Collective.

His remarks were being found as excusing Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the murder of Washington Write-up reporter Jamal Khashoggi. LIV Golf is backed by Saudi Arabia’s economical arm.

The PGA Tour exposed Thursday that the 17 members who declared they would be participating in the rival golf league would be suspended. Top rated golfers like Dustin Johnson and Kevin Na experienced already introduced their resignation prior to the Tour’s announcement.
