Lawmakers on the committee also offered video clips of interviews and depositions with previous best Trump officers just before the pick out committee, including one from Attorney Normal Monthly bill Barr and his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Cheney, through the hearing, mentioned "there is no area for debate."

"All those who invaded our Capitol and battled law enforcement for hours were enthusiastic by what President Trump had instructed them--that the election was stolen and that he was the rightful president," Cheney said. "President Trump summoned the mob, assembled the mob and lit the flame of this attack." 

The Select Committee played a never-ahead of-seen online video of graphic events that transpired throughout the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol. Thompson, prior to playing the tape, warned that it "is tough to observe."

Meanwhile, Cheney claimed that there is "no question that President Trump was properly aware of the violence as it designed."

Cheney, even though, reported then-Vice President Mike Pence did speak to the Pentagon for belongings to guard the Capitol.
