A Georgia police division claims it is "desperately asking for the public’s assistance" in tracking down whoever killed a 7-year-aged baby in a strike-and-run more than the weekend. 

The Clayton County Police Office claims the incident took place in Jonesboro, just outside the house of Atlanta, all-around 2:15 a.m. Sunday. 

"At this time, we genuinely consider that possibly the child got out when no 1 was knowledgeable that the baby snuck out," Clayton County Capt. Steven Palmer instructed reporters.

Palmer stated the child’s family lives in the place, and they are cooperating with the investigation.
