Katie Ledecky stands alone following successful gold in the 800-meter freestyle race at the Environment Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan on Saturday. 

The gain is Ledecky’s 16th specific earth title, breaking a tie with legendary men’s swimmer Michael Phelps for the most unique gold medals at the entire world championships.

Ledecky gained with a time of 8:08:87, approximately 5 seconds speedier than the second-place finisher, Lee Bingjie of China.

With the victory on Saturday, Ledecky also grew to become the very first swimmer to get a one Worlds party 6 periods.

Ledecky tied Phelps’ file for unique titles at the planet championships on Tuesday with a win in the 1,500-meter freestyle.

A 7-time Olympic gold medalist, Ledecky will contend at the Paris Olympics upcoming 12 months.

But if I'm nevertheless loving it, if I truly feel like my entire body can do it. I believe I would give it a shot. It is awesome to have that opportunity to swim in the United States at an Olympics.
